The Register of Public Health Specialist

The Register of public health specialist (next – the Register) was created during the implementation   of the Human Resources Development Action Programme – priority No. 4 „Improvement of Administrative Skills and Public Administration Efficiency“ – activity No. VP1-4.3-VRM-02-V „Public Politician Reform Encouragement“ (project code No. VP1-4.3-VRM-02-V-01-001).

The purpose of the Register  –  to register the specialists, who carry out public health care functions in the public health care institutions of the Lithuanian health system and collect, store, process, organize,  keep and provide the data and documents of the Register to individuals and legal entities, carry out other data managing activities of the Register.

The object of the Register – the specialists, who carry out public health care functions in public health care institutions of the Lithuanian health system.

The owner of the Register is the Ministry of Health of The Republic of Lithuania, the legal entity code 188604574, registered office at Vilnius str. 33, LT-01506 Vilnius.

The manager of the Register are the Institute of Hygiene (the manager administrator) and the public health care institutions of the Lithuanian health system as defined in article  24 of the Law on Health Care Institutions of The Republic of Lithuania.

The data providers – specialists of the public health care institutions of the Lithuanian health system and  regional public health Bureaus.
